BonFeu guarantees that the products comply with the characteristics expressed by BonFeu itself, the reasonable
requirements of reliability and/or usability and the applicable regulations in force at the time. With due regard
for the following, we strive to achieve the highest possible quality, reliability and usability of our products.
- All BonFeu products come with the standard BonFeu factory warranty of 12 (twelve) months (1 year)
after purchase;
- The Customer is responsible for reading and taking note of the instructions in the product
Requesting an RMA
An RMA request is made by means of a written request via support@firepithaven.co.uk. This application must contain
the following elements:
- Name of customer and contact person;
- Address data;
- Proof of purchase (receipt/invoice);
- Complete complaint description supported by photo material.
Conditions for acceptance of an RMA request
- A proper complaint description must be entered for each item 1 ;
- The description of the complaint must be clearly illustrated with the help of photos and/or videos;

What size should I choose, 80cm or 100cm XL?
The 80cm version is ideal for most patios and everyday use. The 100cm XL gives you significantly more cooking space and works best for larger gardens or when cooking for groups.
Can I cook different foods at the same time?
Yes. The plancha heats from the centre outwards, creating multiple heat zones. You can sear meat in the middle while cooking vegetables or lighter foods around the edges.
What fuel does the BonBiza Open use?
It is designed to burn wood only. This gives you a natural flame, strong heat output and authentic outdoor cooking flavour.
Is it easy to clean?
Very straightforward. Once finished cooking, scrape any residue into the fire using a spatula, then wipe the plate with a damp cloth while still warm.
Can it stay outside all year round?
Yes. Both steel and corten versions are designed for outdoor use. The corten steel will naturally develop a rust-like patina over time, which protects the material and adds character.
What is the difference between black steel and corten steel?
Black steel has a clean, modern finish. Corten steel weathers over time into a rustic, orange-brown patina. Both are durable, but corten is designed to age visibly.
Does it come with everything I need to start cooking?
Yes. It includes a BBQ grill grid. You can also expand your setup with optional accessories like a pizza oven, skewer ring or protective lid.
How long does it take to heat up?
Typically around 20 to 30 minutes depending on the fire. Once hot, the thick steel plate holds heat well for consistent cooking.
Is it suitable for smaller spaces?
The 80cm version works well in most patios and medium-sized gardens. If space is tight, allow room around the unit for safety and airflow.
Do I need to assemble it?
Minimal assembly is required. Full instructions are provided, and setup is straightforward.

Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email. We temporarily pre-authorise your payment while we confirm stock availability with our warehouse or suppliers.

Pallet Deliveries
Larger items are delivered on a pallet via curbside delivery. Drivers will usually place the pallet in a convenient location where access is easy and surfaces are flat.
Please note that drivers cannot move items through homes, over steps, or across difficult terrain.

If your delivery address has restricted access (e.g. narrow roads, tight turns, or limited vehicle access), please let us know at checkout or contact us in advance.
