Requesting an RMA
An RMA request is made by means of a written request via support@firepithaven.co.uk. This application must contain the following elements: - Name of customer and contact person; - Address data; - Proof of purchase (receipt/invoice); - Complete complaint description supported by photo material.
Conditions for acceptance of an RMA request
- A proper complaint description must be entered for each item 1 ; - The description of the complaint must be clearly illustrated with the help of photos and/or videos;

What fuel should I use?
The HEAT Skal is designed for burning dry wood logs. Hardwoods such as oak or ash will give longer burn times and a more consistent heat output.
Is the fire pit too small?
No. While the Skal is compact, it is designed to hold enough wood for a strong, steady fire. It is ideal for smaller patios or seating areas where a full-size fire pit would be too large.
How long will the fire last?
Burn time depends on the type and amount of wood used. With hardwood logs and regular refuelling, you can maintain a consistent fire for several hours.
Does the open design burn wood faster?
Yes. The open bar design allows more airflow, which helps the fire burn hotter and cleaner, but it can use wood slightly faster than enclosed fire pits.
Does smoke blow towards you?
Smoke direction depends on wind conditions. The open design allows smoke to rise freely, but like any wood fire, it may shift direction with the breeze. Positioning the fire pit slightly away from seating areas helps improve comfort.
Is it safe to use on a patio or decking?
It should be placed on a heat-resistant surface such as stone or concrete. Avoid placing it directly on wooden decking without a protective heat barrier.
